Black Bean Puree

The puree

  • 1 Can of black beans drained and strained
  • 1/2 Yellow Onion
  • 1tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 tbsp Bragg’s Liquid Aminos
  • Pinch of salt and pepper, chili powder




The most amazing black bean mixture you’ll ever want or need. It will become a staple in your household – I am convinced!

1 can of black beans drained and strained

1/2 yellow onion
4 tbsp Bragg’s Liquid Aminos

1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Pinch of salt and pepper, chili powder

Optional: Hide vegetables! recommend spinach, celery and bell peppers.

Dice onion

Heat pan with olive oil on high for 2-minutes. Add onions. Stir occasionally. Cook for 5-minutes until translucent.

Pour all ingredients into your blender (we can’t get enough of our Vitamix)



Blend until consistency you desire is achieved. Add water as needed while blending.

Enjoy immediately. This recipe is so special to us. You will be amazed by how easy it is and how much easier it is use with your everyday cooking. We love it as an alternative to marinara on the base of our tortilla pizza. It is also great alone as a dip! I could go on and on – you must try it and see for yourself.
